We had a wonderful time. The house is spacious and we had everything we needed! Wonderful for 5 adults. So conveniently located. We wish there had been a little more Christmas feel to it. There is usually a tree or some holiday decor when we travel this time of year but that did not effect our stay. I highly recommend this house!

Great spot for our group of 10! Lots of space to hang and not get in each other's way in the kitchen and a short drive to the mountain. A peaceful, private setting allowed for a great trip!

This place was perfect for a ski weekend with a large group! The shuttle bus couldn't be more convenient and we took it constantly. We had some issues with the coffee maker and the staff responded immediately and even brought us a new coffee maker along with several bags of coffee. The staff was very easy to work with and I couldn't recommend this property enough.

House was wonderful. We had a group of friends, not all couples and the layout of the house worked great. The bus was right outside the driveway to make getting into town super easy. Loved everything about it!

Location excellent - when we moved in we had to clean the stove and oven prior to use - kitchen was lacking good storage for pantry items - rooms very comfortable- great fire place dining room, etc. beds we would rate a “c”

Nice layout and plenty of room for our group of 10. The shuttle is right out front ( $2.50 Ca each way) which makes getting to the slopes easy.

Home was very nice and accurately described. We had a minor problem with downstairs shower handle that was fixed quickly. Hot tub did not heat water on the last evening of our stay. Excellant view of the ski resort and ski shuttle just outside the home. One parking place in the village was very helpful. Overall a great property.

The house was perfect for our two families to stay for a short ski trip. The kitchen and dining area was very easy to cook in and have our evening dinners. The parking at the base of the mountain was fantastic and made getting to the lifts so easy.

Stayed here with a group of 12 adults. Shuttle access to the base couldn't have been easier. Note the 6 bus is $2.50 each way, but tickets are very easy to purchase. Manager was very available and responded to our minor requests extremely quickly. Would definitely stay here again.

Gorgeous spacious home. This was the most perfect setting for our family Christmas. Layout was great for all spending time together but also allowed us to spread out when wanted. Decorations were a very nice touch, kitchen was well stocked, hot tub was great, beds were comfy and we loved the overall design and aesthetic. We hope to return to enjoy this great space in the summer as well.

Really enjoyed our trip to Whistler and this house helped make the trip great! Perfect house for a group of 6-8 and only a short drive to the mountain. Would definitely recommend. Also has one of the best views from the hot tub that we've ever experienced :)

Great experience staying in Whistler for a week! House is large enough to accommodate a group of 8-10, beautiful views from the living room windows and hot tub, easy access to slopes via shuttle

Stunning views of Whistler and Backcomb Mountains. Fantastic walking on the golf course. Not really walking distance to the village but good taxi's and bus system. The chalet is a charming log design but oddly has no kitchen pantry (so all food other than refrigerated foods are on the counters), sad and tired looking furniture in the lovely main living area and the slowest WiFi we've encountered in a long time. Still a great place in a beautiful location!

This home was PERFECT for our 2 families of four! Excellent in every way. The teens enjoyed having a lower level family room with TV to allow them their own space at times. We did not need to rent a vehicle, as the bus stop is right across the street from the driveway. The bus runs approximately every 30 mins and it is a short 5 min bus ride to the Village and/or Gondola Base. Walking is an option also and we did that on the day we did not ski.
Todd W., United States ● January, 2019
All was good, loved the view on deck, and front room and kitchen were good. The house however is very dangerous for small children. The stairs have no guard, and our child friend fell down the stairs, luckily not falling into the kitchen. The down stairs room could be better set up with a real bed, rather than couches, the two twin beds did not work on the steel frames, so we put them on the floor and that worked okay. Lights in the kitchen did not function. Front door key slot was very difficult to turn. Minor stuff except for the stairs, which I would never recommend anyone with small children to rent. We had to build walls to the stairs so the 16 month could not get around, but he found a way to climb over and slid down on a futon that was one of the things we set up to block him. Tks Gary

The house was beautiful, great décor, wonderful decks with spectacular views, comfortable beds! It is a first rate house and had everything we needed. We loved being there. The location is close to the town bus stop and the village walking paths - super accessible to everything. It was easy checking into the house and Rob and staff were available at a moment's notice. Rent this property. It is Terrific!

We had our entire family stay at this beautiful home over Thanksgiving and had such a great time. The property manager and everyone who took part, made our stay so enjoyable. There was plenty of room for the 8 of us and even better was the parking pass which allowed us to easily access the slopes which were only a short drive away. Jim

Great spot for a family get together - good location, kitchen is well stocked with cookware etc., easy check in and check out - will book again assuming the property is still listed.

With its log-covered walls, big stone fireplace and huge windows overlooking the slopes, this was the perfect mountain getaway. The layout, with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths on 2nd floor, 3 bedrooms (we converted the den) and 2 baths on the lower level, was ideal. We were 3 couples with 3 adult kids and everyone had their own space and privacy. Furnishings were comfortable, with plenty of seating for our large group. The kitchen was probably the best equipped I've ever seen in a vacation rental and there was room for several cooks to be in the kitchen together. For coffee, we could choose Kcup, percolator or French press. There are a waffle iron, slow cookers and every utensil you could possibly need. Table settings and glassware for a crowd. The property was just a few short minutes from the village, but the shuttle bus stops quite literally at the end of the driveway so there's no need to drive. There were also nice touches - local cookbooks, holiday decorations (even a small decorated Christmas tree), slippers for the hot tub, quality towels and bed linens, basic kitchen essentials. Spacious, rustic but with all modern conveniences, beautiful views, convenient location. What more could we ask for? We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in this home. We hope to return in the near future.

Our family of 8 stayed for a week and had an absolutely magical stay in this beautiful home. The views are spectacular. The main living room is warm and accommodates everyone but there are lots of other spaces throughout the house if you want to get away for awhile. The bedrooms are all spacious. The kitchen is very well equipped and we wanted for nothing. The hot tub looks back at the hill - wonderful to sit there and watch the sun go down across the mountains. It was supremely comfortable. Thank you so much.

We spent 4 days with our family at this beautiful well equipped home. Everything you could ask for is available to you. The kitchen is a full gourmet kitchen. The views are magnificent. The hot tub has a great view and is a treat after a day of skiing. The fire place in the main room in combination with the beautiful logs makes this a very cozy and inviting home. Bob was wonderful. Highly recommend it.

This beautiful log home is everything we hoped for and more!! It was spacious and extremely comfy and cozy in the main living area. The kitchen is equipped with everything we could imagine. (more pots and serving trays than I have every seen in 1 home) The views, the location were perfect... just far enough away from the chaos but close to the trails and close enough to walk to the village. Hot tub is a highlight too. 5 stars!!!! We will be back!! Thank-you!

Our annual ski vacation to Whistler brought us to this great Whistler home. There were plenty of beds and bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen was very well appointed and the entire home was very comfortable and inviting. The staff greeted us and were very responsive when we had a minor maintenance issue that we needed help with. The hot tub is wonderfully situated to take full advantage of the surrounding views and was quite welcome at the end of our ski days. If this home is available for our trip next year, we will definitely stay here!

We stayed in Whistler from August 7th to August 11th for a family wedding. We wanted an authentic log house and a true Whistler experience and were not disappointed. Even with 34 degree temp. the house stayed nice and cool. We had 14 stay at this wonderful house, aged 4 to 66. From the moment you walk in you feel at home. House was perfect in every way. Very clean, lots of linens. If you are a "foodie", you would love the well equipped kitchen. Beds were incredibly comfortable. Heard several comments about how great the water pressure was in the showers. View is spectacular. Short 5 minute drive to the Village. Suggestions made that we should stay here once a year. I have no hesitation at all in recommending this beautiful home if you want that true Whistler mountain experience. Thank you for allowing us into your home.

This beautiful, very well maintained house was the venue for a cross-border family reunion over the Christmas break. This really is a warm, inviting, tastefully decorated home, located in a quiet residential neighbourhood. Views of the golf course and mountains were amazing. The living room with its fireplace, and adjacent dining area had a great feel - we were so happy in the house that we ended up eating out far less than we had originally planned! The house was immaculately clean and the kitchen perfectly equipped. Both Bonnie and Rob were super helpful - making sure that we had everything we needed, and taking extra time to guide on local activities, restaurants, etc. We chose not to have a car; we got to town using cabs (a 5 to 7 minute ride; $10 to $12 including tip), the bus, which stopped just across the road, and also sometimes walked (a beautiful 25 minute walk around the golf course). Perhaps just one note of caution - the sides to the staircase up to the 2nd floor were pretty open. We would have been uncomfortable with small kids. We all regretted having to leave at the end of our break, and have agreed to try orchestrate another stay very soon! Highly recommended!

Perhaps just one note of caution - the sides to the staircase up to the 2nd floor were pretty open. We would have been uncomfortable with small kids. We all regretted having to leave at the end of our break, and have agreed to try orchestrate another stay very soon! Highly recommended!Posted: 1/29/2014
