Whether you're facing trip cancellation, emergency medical expenses, travel delays, road closures, or evacuation-related disruptions, travel insurance can provide valuable coverage and peace of mind before and during your stay. We strongly encourage all guests to consider travel insurance when planning their Whistler vacation.

Policy Highlights

  • Up to $100,000 reimbursement for rental costs 
  • Up to $25,000 in emergency medical expense coverage 
  • Up to $525,000 in emergency medical evacuation and repatriation coverage Up to $200 per day ($750 maximum) for eligible trip delay expenses, including accommodations
  • Up to $200 per day ($1,000 maximum) for baggage delays Up to $1,250 for loss, theft, or damage to baggage, including sporting equipment

Covered Reasons for Cancellation & Interruption

Mountain Trip Preserver may provide coverage for eligible unforeseen events, including:

  • Lack of snowfall resulting in ski facility closure 
  • Natural disasters that make your vacation property uninhabitable 
  • Natural disasters affecting your primary residence or that of a travelling companion Illness, injury, or death of you, a family member, or a travelling companion
