Find the perfect place to stay in Whistler
A vacation rental with a shared pool or hot tub is one of the most popular choices for guests visiting Whistler, and it is easy to see why. Complex amenities like heated outdoor pools and communal hot tubs add a resort feel to your stay without the price tag of a private facility, and they give every member of the group a place to gather, unwind, and make the most of the mountain atmosphere. Whether you are here for a ski trip in winter, a mountain biking adventure in summer, or a relaxed group getaway in any season, a Whistler vacation rental with a pool or complex hot tub is a no-brainer upgrade to your stay. Our collection of pool and hot tub vacation rentals spans some of Whistler's most popular and well-located buildings, from slopeside complexes in the Benchlands and Upper Village to village-centre properties within walking distance of both gondolas, restaurants, and everything the resort has to offer.
What is the Difference Between a Private Hot Tub and a Complex Hot Tub?
A private hot tub is exclusively for the use of guests staying in your rental property. A complex hot tub is a shared amenity available to all guests staying within the building or complex. Both have their merits. A complex hot tub is typically larger, heated to a consistent temperature, and maintained daily by on-site staff, making it a reliable and convenient option for groups who want to soak without the responsibility of managing their own facility. Many complex hot tubs in Whistler are set in beautifully landscaped outdoor areas with mountain views, making them a genuine highlight of the stay rather than simply a practical amenity. If a private hot tub is important to your group, browse our private hot tub collection. If a complex pool or shared hot tub suits your needs, you are in the right place.
Whistler Vacation Rentals with Pool and Hot Tub for Skiers & Snowboarders
After a full day on Whistler Blackcomb, a complex hot tub is one of the most effective and enjoyable ways to recover tired legs and sore muscles before doing it all again tomorrow. Many of our slopeside properties in the Benchlands and Upper Village offer complex hot tubs just steps from your front door, meaning you can be soaking within minutes of returning from the mountain. Several buildings in our collection also feature heated indoor or outdoor pools, giving you a full recovery and relaxation option that rivals any resort facility.
Whistler Vacation Rentals with Pool and Hot Tub for Summer Stays
A heated pool takes on a whole new dimension in the Whistler summer. Warm afternoons, mountain air, and a cold drink poolside is one of the most enjoyable ways to spend a rest day between rides on the Whistler Mountain Bike Park or hikes on the surrounding trails. Several of our pool properties are located in the village core, making it easy to alternate between the pool, the trails, and the exceptional dining and patio scene that makes Whistler summers so compelling. For families, a complex pool is one of the most popular amenities of all, giving kids a dedicated space to burn energy while adults relax close by.
Whistler Vacation Rentals with Pool and Hot Tub for Families & Groups
For families and groups, a shared pool and hot tub complex is one of the best value amenity combinations available in a Whistler vacation rental. It gives every age group something to enjoy, creates a natural gathering point for the group throughout the day, and adds a layer of resort-style comfort to the stay without significantly increasing the nightly rate. Many of our most popular family and group buildings in Whistler feature both a heated pool and multiple hot tubs within the complex, along with additional amenities like fitness rooms, underground parking, and secure ski or bike storage. Our reservations team can help you identify the right building and unit for your group size and budget.

A History and Overview of Whistler
Whistler and the surrounding areas hold thousands of years of history as these lands were the home of the Coast Salish First Nations before Europeans arrived, with Whistler serving as a valuable trading post between the Squamish and Lil'wat nations. Many of the hiking tracks around Whistler are actually the traditional routes of the Coast Salish peoples, and you can follow their paths to view nature and the landscape similarly to how they once did. You can also visit the Squamish-Lil'wat Cultural Centre to get a complete grasp of the region's history and identity.
Named "Whistler" thanks to the shrill sound that the local hoary marmot populations make, the early 1900s saw European settlement, first as a small hunting and fishing village, then as a successful mining town until the 1950s turned it into a popular summer vacation spot. The 1960s saw the first ski resort on the mountain open, and then in 2010, Whistler hosted the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
