Find the perfect place to stay in Whistler
A private hot tub is one of the most searched and most requested amenities in any Whistler vacation rental, and it is easy to understand why. There is something genuinely restorative about sinking into your own outdoor hot tub at the end of a big day in the mountains, whether you have just come off the slopes of Whistler Blackcomb, put in a long day on the Whistler Mountain Bike Park, or simply spent the afternoon exploring everything the Sea to Sky corridor has to offer. No shared facilities, no schedules, no robes required. Just step outside, lift the cover, and the hot tub is yours.
Our collection of Whistler vacation rentals with private hot tubs spans the entire valley, from slopeside chalets and townhomes in the Benchlands and Upper Village to spacious private homes in White Gold, Blueberry, Nicklaus North, and Wedgewoods. Whether you are looking for a cozy two-bedroom retreat for a couples getaway, a large chalet that sleeps the whole group, or a dog-friendly property with a hot tub and mountain views, we have an option to suit every trip and every budget.
Why a Private Hot Tub Makes All the Difference in Whistler
Whistler is a physically demanding destination in the best possible way. Whether you are skiing vertical after vertical on Whistler Blackcomb, hammering descents on the Whistler Mountain Bike Park, or hiking the surrounding trails, your body will thank you for a private hot tub at the end of each day. Unlike a shared hot tub in a complex, a private hot tub lets you soak on your own schedule, stay as long as you like, and enjoy the mountain air and stars above without sharing the space with other guests. For families and groups, it becomes the natural gathering spot at the end of every day, the place where the highlights of the day get replayed and the plans for tomorrow get made.
Private Hot Tub Vacation Rentals for Skiers & Snowboarders
After a day of powder turns, moguls, and long groomers on Whistler Blackcomb, a private hot tub is the single best recovery tool available. Many of our slopeside properties in the Benchlands, Upper Village, and Creekside offer ski-in/ski-out access and a private hot tub, meaning you can step off the mountain and be soaking within minutes. Properties in these neighborhoods book early in the winter season, so we strongly recommend reserving your private hot tub rental well in advance of your ski trip.
Private Hot Tub Vacation Rentals for Mountain Biking & Summer
A private hot tub in Whistler is just as compelling in summer as it is in winter. After a full day on the Whistler Mountain Bike Park or exploring the Valley Trail and Lost Lake Park, there is nothing better than easing into a hot tub as the evening mountain air cools around you. Many of our summer guests tell us that the private hot tub becomes the highlight of their stay, the ritual that bookends every day in the mountains. Several of our properties with private hot tubs also feature BBQ decks and outdoor dining areas, making warm summer evenings in Whistler something to truly look forward to.
Private Hot Tub Vacation Rentals for Families & Groups
For families and groups, a private hot tub is one of the most practical and most enjoyed amenities in a Whistler vacation rental. Kids love it after a long day on the mountain, adults love it even more, and it gives every member of the group a reason to gather together without screens or schedules. Our private hot tub properties range from two-bedroom condos and townhomes to large multi-bedroom chalets sleeping fourteen or more, so whether you are travelling as a couple, a family of five, or a group of friends on a long-awaited reunion trip, there is a property in our collection with your name on it.

A History and Overview of Whistler
Whistler and the surrounding areas hold thousands of years of history as these lands were the home of the Coast Salish First Nations before Europeans arrived, with Whistler serving as a valuable trading post between the Squamish and Lil'wat nations. Many of the hiking tracks around Whistler are actually the traditional routes of the Coast Salish peoples, and you can follow their paths to view nature and the landscape similarly to how they once did. You can also visit the Squamish-Lil'wat Cultural Centre to get a complete grasp of the region's history and identity.
Named "Whistler" thanks to the shrill sound that the local hoary marmot populations make, the early 1900s saw European settlement, first as a small hunting and fishing village, then as a successful mining town until the 1950s turned it into a popular summer vacation spot. The 1960s saw the first ski resort on the mountain open, and then in 2010, Whistler hosted the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
