Stretching along the lower slopes of Blackcomb and Upper Village, the area is known for its ski-in/ski-out access, forested surroundings, and easy access to both adventure and relaxation.

Guests enjoy quick access to the Blackcomb Gondola, Lost Lake, and the Valley Trail network, making it easy to ski, bike, hike, or explore year-round. Spend summer afternoons swimming or paddleboarding at Lost Lake, tee off at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler Golf Club, or enjoy après and patio dining at Merlin’s Bar & Grill, a favourite slope-side spot at the base of Blackcomb. In winter, the area becomes a hub for skiing, snowshoeing, and cross-country trails through Lost Lake Park.

Combining peaceful mountain living with convenient access to Whistler’s dining, apres, and village atmosphere, the Benchlands is a favourite year-round destination for families, couples, and outdoor enthusiasts alike.

Essential information

House rules

No smoking or vaping in the home, on the patio, or anywhere within the complex.
No parties or excessive noise. Quiet hours are between 10 pm - 8 am.
Pets are not allowed.
Bikes, skis and snowboards entering the home have to be cleaned and dried beforehand.
Guests are not permitted to wear ski or snowboard boots inside the house.
Minimum age requirement to book is 25 years.

Home truths

One free parking stall included (6'8"clearance), and first come first served visitor parking.
This townhome does not have air conditioning. Portable fans are provided in each bedroom and the living area for your comfort.
If you'd like the Twin beds in the 3rd bedroom set as a King bed upon your arrival, just let us know at the time of booking or an extra fee may apply.
You need to walk up & down stairs to get to this townhouse and whilst staying at this home. Not suitable for people with accessibility restrictions.
Extra guests (8th, 9th and 10th adults) pays $35 CAD / night per person; max 10 guests. Children 12 and under stay for free.

Cancellation policy

Full refund: Cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a 100% refund of all payments made.
Deposit forfeited: Cancel more than 60 days before arrival. 10% deposit is non-refundable.
Partial loss: Cancel between 60 and 45 days before arrival. 25% of the reservation total is non-refundable.
No refund: Cancel within 45 days of arrival. The reservation is fully non-refundable.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances.

Check-in / Check-out

Check-in is available after 4 pm on the day of your arrival.
Check-out is at 10 am. Failure to check-out on time may incur additional fees unless the guest services team has approved a late check-out.

We had a great stay. The house is beautiful and spacious for our large group. It’s very close to the mountain for skiing and the bus system was easy to use and dropped/picked us up only 500 feet from the house. The house was very clean and we loved the gas fireplace. The area is beautiful, and the management company was extremely responsive and easy to get a hold of. We can’t wait to come back!

At first, checking in was a bit complicated, but there’s actually a door right next to the apartment that leads directly to the parking lot, which makes moving luggage very convenient. The bed was very comfortable and I slept especially well. Communication with the host was smooth from start to finish, and any issues were resolved right away. The parking lot is spacious and convenient as well — if I had to mention one downside, it would be that there are quite a few stairs. I’d definitely recommend staying here again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The home was cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated with plenty of space and ample room for our family of nine. I especially loved the large wooden dining table and board games. It was a short walk to Lost Lake for a hike or swim and an easy walk to the Upper or Lower Village for some food, shopping or sight seeing. The Village could also be accessed by one of the regularly scheduled, free buses that stopped about a block away. Nice touches included the complementary snacks, sparkling water, and gourmet coffee beans, as well a selection of quality DVDs for the kids to watch. We received clear instructions for checking in and out, as well as for contacting our host in case we needed assistance. We were very satisfied with our experience and stay in every respect.
