Every time I come to whistler I try to stay in this area. Easy walk to gondola, bars and restaurants. Very quiet compared to the village itself making it perfect. The apartment was great for 2 people with spacious kitchen, washer/dryer and comfortable Murphy bed.

I hope to express a fair and balanced review.
The pros: beautiful scenery, walkable location across from the North end of the village.
The cons: the apartment is not a one bedroom as listed but a studio. (There’s an inconsistency in the description, noting the unit as both a studio and a one bedroom.) In addition to having to move furniture around to lower the Murphy bed, bigger issues were as follows: despite the high cleaning fees, the laundry was excessively dirty (we had to wash the pillow cases and the bedding just to feel comfortable sleeping on them.) The mattress was very firm and made sleeping difficult, specially given that the AC unit is right beside the bed — a consequence of the small unit, I understand). The drain hasn’t been unclogged in quite some time, leaving a pool of water in the tub every time one showers.
I wish I had had more positive things to say about our stay, but I’ll conclude by saying that we would have invested more to stay in a better managed place.

Thank you for sharing such a fair and detailed review. I’m glad you enjoyed the scenery and the walkable location near the village, but I’m very sorry to hear about the issues you encountered during your stay.
I sincerely apologize for the housekeeping oversight. Clean linens are a basic expectation, and I completely understand how frustrating it must have been to have to rewash them yourself. Your notes on the mattress, AC placement, and tub drain are also very helpful for us to address and improve.

Awesome location steps from the village. Unit had portable a/c that worked great during the mini heatwave that was happening over our stay. You do have to move a sofa bed in order to get the murphy bed down, which we were not expecting, but other than that it’s a great unit and a great location. We’d stay here again.

The place was clean and well equipped. It is very convenient to Whistler Village. We did not realize we would have to move the HEAVY couch so there would be room for the Murphy bed to be lowered. The place is smaller than it appears in the pictures so, once the bed was lowered, there was little room to walk around even after we had moved the couch. If there had been two side chairs instead of the pull out bed couch, it would have been much easier. But, regardless, we had a good time.

Comfortable, well resourced, with everything you need. Set in nice leafy complex, convenient location. Bed is pull down as mentioned in comments, but queen size and leaving it down didn’t bother us.

Cozy apartment

Great location, cozy and nice place. Loved having the washer and dryer in unit. AC was essential. Lots of stairs so not very accessible. Only issue is that the bed doesn't fit with the couch and so we had to rearrange the furniture to be able to use the Murphy bed.

Good place. Great location

We had a great stay. Location is awesome, walking distance to the mountain and restaurants. Parking was convenient. Murphy bed was comfortable. Space is tight, but totally adequate for two. Host was friendly and helpful.

Fantastic location!
Door-to-door service! Roll onto the free shuttle to gondolas right across the street from the Lagoons complex to the Whistler Village Gondolas in about 7 minutes!
Grocery stores, restaurants etc all right at your door step without being in the thick of the village.
Easy adventures around town for some good people watching and a 7 minute walk to the fabulous Audain Art Gallery!
Great space and value!

The location is great. The cleaning fee is excessive for all the cleaning the guest has to do before checkout. Small... had to shuffle the sofa around every night to get bed out. Could use some extra deep cleaning inside... not sure where cleaning fee is going.

I had a great stay at Outpost's condo in Whistler. There is so much to do within walking distance including hikes, biking, dining, shopping, skiing. I was traveling with two dogs and the condo worked out great for us; the neighborhood had lots of sidewalks and dog friendly trails jut outside the front door.
The condo was very clean, well stocked with everything needed for cooking and plenty of linens. The grill and little balcony were great to enjoy the warm sunny afternoons and the fire place made it nice and cozy inside at night. TV and wifi worked great and the dining room table worked out well for making a little office space to get work done.
I highly recommend Outpost and this property, they were a pleasure to work with.

This place is what all AirBnBs should be trying to be. It has everything from treats, coffee, beans, pods , ground coffee to a coffee grinder. Baking things and every utensils that you could possibly need. A balcony - small but functional with a weber BBQ. Cleaners, paper, supplies and a jetted tub. underground parking was easy and convenient and would be a great asset in winter. Did I say it was the cleanest of clean it could be. Then the location across from north village - the best I believe in all of Whistler. I highly recommend 13 out or 10 .

The place was nice and as described, lovely spot that was away from the noise, but still only a few minutes walking distance.
Only reason why I did not give a 5-star was because no notice was given that a maintenance man would come into our unit during our stay to do some work. We only realized because we had come back to the unit to find a changed out window. I had to contact the Outpost team to which they confirmed it was their maintenance crew. They apologized for the experience as they weren’t sure why we weren’t notified beforehand. Given how nice the place was and the response from the Outpost team, I wouldn’t be surprised if this was a one off on their part, but was still disappointed. No items stolen or anything, but would prefer to have been notified that someone was going to access the unit.
Otherwise, a great place.

Excellent location, across the street from the village.
No air conditioning, and it's a 2nd story unit, so it gets hot inside.
The host is actually a rental property management company that runs aspects of this stay outside of airbnb which is weird, such as wanting a form filled out along with photo of you with your passport outside of airbnb and wanting added pet fees outside of airbnb before you arrive.

Everything You Need in a Small Space & Walking Distance to Restaurants, Trails, and more

This little studio apartment was perfect for our outdoor/ adventure based long weekend away. Everything you need, from kitchen to shower supplies was available. The murphy bed set up was quite easy after moving the large couch hide-a-bed. It was also quite comfy. The complex is incredibly close to all village amenities (i.e. restaurants, trails, shopping, etc.). We were also able to bring our golden retriever and Outpost ( the property management group) left us dog dishes, poop bags, and a dog towel. Whistler is incredibly dog friendly and most places allow dogs on patios or have outdoor seating in close proximity to safe tie up areas. Overall, this was a great little place for us as a couple and our dog.

Walking distance from everything

Very convenient location in Whistler as you can walk anywhere from the Lagoons complex. Nice view on small pond courtyard garden and fairly quiet at night compared to staying closer to busy party main street & area (even with all windows open at night). Nice size fridge & functional kitchen, with IGA 5 min. walking distance, in case you don’t want to eat all your meals out.

The condo/townhome is located within walking distance of the Whistler/Excalibur gondolas and less than 1 min walk to the bus stop for access to other gondolas. Plenty of food and shopping options within walking distance. Parking was secure behind an underground, "badge-in" parking gate.

1. Close proximity to Whistler Village, with easy access to free shuttle (#4) which takes you to the gondolas and mountain access.
2. Decent kitchen, with necessary kitchen utensils, generous refrigerator.
3. Small outside space, w bbq grill and table for two. Square footage is challenging but at least access to outside/fresh air.
4. Unit is clean and tidy. Shower stream adequate.
5. Easy to access unit w combination lock/code.
6. Fireplace provides warmth and cozy ambiance and helps with drying base layers and gloves overnight.
7. Easy access to refuse area and recyclables. Covered parking, w one stall reserved for unit.
8. Overall, very responsive and supportive staff,
9. Final email instructed to take picture of fob for unit on magnetized dock on wall, but was not on written list of instructions at entrance to unit.
10. Ideal for up to two people who do not have priority for space, hot tub access, gatherings for socializing.
11. Experience overwhelmingly positive.

A great unit close to the action, but quiet. Well-equipped, clean and just the right size for two people and a dog. The new mattress on the wall bed was very comfortable, as well. The dog-friendly touches were very much appreciated!

Great location and a nice and quiet complex! The place was a good size for the 3 of us (one of us being a dog) Definitely would stay here again as the location is great and dog friendly.

Studio is small. Def no more than 2 adults. Super convenient location. The quiet side of Whistler away from the bars. Next to grocery store. You can walk everywhere.

Place was small but we knew that, great for a weekend in Whistler! The only thing we didn’t like was the bed. The mattress is very uncomfortable. Can’t beat the location and it’s a very quiet area of town.

Amazing location close to the Village and restaurants. It is big enough for 2 people.
Added convenience is the private washer and dryer and a small well-equipped kitchen.
Nice fireplace too.
Please note that there are 2 sets of stairs to climb to get from the parking to the studio.

Very clean place with a responsive team and very easy check-in! It’s super quaint but it was the perfect size for myself, my boyfriend, and my pup! :) my dog loved this place and even got a cute lil welcome package of her own! Love that it’s so central, it’s super close to the main village, blackcomb and creekside!

Perfect Place for a Perfect Vacay!!!

Mahalo Nui Loa for allowing me to stay in this beautiful Unit. The location was perfect! I, myself, am in the Visitor Industry on O'ahu and Kaua'i, and found this Unit pristine, and furnished / stocked with all I needed during my stay. I can't say enough good about this Unit, and I'm picky, being in the visitor industry myself on O'ahu and Kaua'i! Besides being in a great location, I found the Unit pristine, nicely furnished, and stocked with all I needed during my stay. All of my questions were answered in a timely manner, and I was very happy with recommendations made for activities, rentals, and food. We really enjoyed our stay. The location is extremely convenient - very easy to hop on a free shuttle that comes every 10 mins and drops you off right at the bottom of the gondola, and across the street from the supermarket, liquor store, etc. It is a small space overall but the kitchen and bathrooms are roomy - it was well set up and a comfortable space for a couple. Great value for Whistler.

Sarah’s place was perfect for us! Clean, easy to find and conveniently located. Very short walk to the grocery store and Whistler Village. Only about a 10 minute walk to the gondolas and chairlifts. We would definitely stay there again.

Great place for a ski weekend. The space is small but very well payed out. Murphy bed is super smart and a rolling coffee table and couch make great use of the bedroom area. Couldn’t be better location, easy walk to the village or the lifts but feels relatively quiet and out of the hustle and bustle. We’d be super excited to stay there again.

Great location for a summertime visit, right across the street from the largest supermarket in Whistler and a government licqour store, plus a very short walk to Olympic Plaza. Good amenities in the unit, we were there to attend a wedding so the iron and ironing board were very nice to have. Perfect for a short stay.
