My stay at Helen’s was wonderful. It was a cute little apartment with everything i needed for a few days in Whistler. The kitchen was complete to cook food, having netflix and crave availabe was a huge bonus, and the bed was very comfortable. The location is perfect to get to a bus station and access other areas around Whistler. Helen was very friendly and responsive for any questions i had throughout my stay. I would highly recommend!

Great place, comfy and well located. As per some of the other reviews some very basic maintenance would improve the stay with the bathroom door being very loud a squeaky and a couple of simple kitchen improvements would go a long way. For example the can opener was unusable and I ended up having to get one while I was there. Other than those small details it’s a great place, clean and quiet. Still recommend.

We had a great stay at Helen's. The apartment is lovely and creekside is quiet and has everything you need. The nearby lakes are nice for a short walk and there are some nice cafes and restaurants. It's easy to catch the bus into Whistler. It would be perfect with slightly closer attention to detail with cleaning and oiling the bathroom and cupboard doors to avoid the really loud creaking when your partner pops to the toilet in the night!
The washing machines are paid for on a app, not cash as stated, and I wouldn't recommend them as our stuff came out smelling worse than it went in.
Some basics for cooking would be appreciated, e.g oil.

Great location. Helen was a great host, very responsive and quick to bring items that were missing from the apartment.
The apartment could benefit from some updates and maintenance. Several doors were very squeaky and noisy, some areas had musty smells, some kitchen tools were rusted, broken, or not working properly.
Also, the listing states there is coin-operated laundry, but the machines actually require an app with a minimum deposit amount that we were told is not refundable. As a result, we chose not to use the laundry facilities.
Overall, a good stay thanks to the host and location, but a few improvements would enhance the experience.

We really enjoyed our stay — the location is perfect, just a short walk from Creekside with access to shops, restaurants, and everything you need. The condo is calm and cozy, and the property has a beautiful pool and hot tub, which are great after a long day outdoors. The only downside is that they close at 8 PM, so if you come back late from hiking, you might miss out.
Otherwise, everything was lovely. There's a peaceful lake just behind the property, and you're also steps away from the lounge at Nita Lake Lodge, which is a great spot for a relaxing drink.

We had a lovely 3 days here this summer.
Helen is a great host and sent clear instructions for checkin and was quick to reply with any questions we had during our stay. The apartment is lovely and has great amenities for what you need for a stay ie. bed (and extra mattress for my son), kitchen, tv for movie nights, and a pool! The apartment was very clean and quiet during my stay.
We were in creekside to swim and paddleboard and the place is perfect for that-it is walking distance to alpha lake park, nita lake’s pier, and you can walk along the valley trail to get to wayside park/tip of alta lake with more docks and canoe & paddleboard rentals. The pool is about 3-4ft deep- which is nice for lounging and for kids.

Helen was an example of a Perfect Host. Always open to help and caring during our stay at her beautiful place. It was a little difficult to find, even with the instructions that Helen sent, but at the end we have found our paradise on the mountains. Helen's place have everything that you should need. Kitchen apliances and Utensils, microwave, stove, fridge, etc... The neighborhood around Helen's place is pleasant and you can see the mountains and a lake in a few steps. You can walk to Whistler Village too on a really well laid out trail - about 5k. Apartment was clean and had a really comfortable big bed. Only complaint was the lack of AC which was badly needed for the weekend that we stayed - unseasonably warm weather for May we were told! To be fair, Helen did state this in the description and there were two fans provided which did help. Helen was great to communicate with and a lovely host!

The place itself was clean and spacious, and the location was amazing for catching the Creekside gondola up the mountain. Only (minor) issue we had was with the heating: it was set pretty low when we got in and didn't seem to really warm up. It's also next to the best food IMO in Whistler - Red Door and Nita Lake Lodge - the Den.
Whistler village is a short drive for ski apres - the Irish bar was our favorite.

Ich kann dieses Apartment einfach nur jedem ans Herz legen der ein gutes Preis/ Leistungsverhältnis in whistler sucht. Es gibt Parkplätze direkt vor der Tür, das Apartment ist neu und modern eingerichtet, es gibt alles was man braucht auch Kochutensilien, Handtücher, badartikel, es bleiben keine Wünsche offen. Im Komplex besteht die Möglichkeit zum waschen, in die Sauna zu gehen oder in den Pool. Außerdem kann man Mountainbikes und Ski im Keller verstauen. Fussläufig gibt es viele Wanderwege, Seen, aber auch ein schönes Café, Supermarkt, Restaurants und kleine Shops.
Da andere Unterkünfte in whistler deutlich teurer sind würden wir jeder Zeit wieder kommen. Der Kontakt mit Helen war immer sehr freundlich und schnell. Check in komplett mit Türcodes auch super easy!

The location of your condo was great for what we needed. The appearance of the renos done were nice overall .
We did have a couple of issues .
One was the fireplace …. When we entered the flue was open in the fireplace and a big draft was entering and a bad smell in the condo which at first we thought was weed or something but I think it might have been the fireplace. The smell was so bad I felt ill for the first night. Also there is a very cold stream of air coming in down the side of the bricks where the fireplace meets the wall.
The second was the cleanliness. In the bathroom there was a lot of dirt and yellow streaks down the walls, I wanted to take a washcloth to it. The paint was old and worn all over and The deck was nasty and so dirty so that was a no go.
Also the TV was In terrible condition with lines all through the picture which for me and my hubby was an issue as we love to watch movies in the morning and at night while we are away.
It wouldn’t take much to make this place better.

Stayed in Helen’s cute little suite for 11 nights and it was perfect. Cafe right next door, 3 minute walk to the bus stop/ski lift and less then a 10 minute bus trip right into town. Would highly recommend staying here. Thanks again Helen!

Helen's was amazing! exactly what you expect from the pictures/description! the locations was convenient, 5 minutes away from Whistler Village and close to all attractions we intended on going. everything you needed for your stay was a stone's throw away!

Helen's studio is a wonderful place for short or long term stay. The apt came with \ basic cooking supplies, spices olive oil etc and is about an 8 minute walk to Creekside Gondola. The fireplace was a nice touch and very easy to use. I also really liked how the hot tub was available in the main area downstairs. Great after a long day of skiing. The space its self is quite spacious and even though it was just me you could definitely sleep a family of 3 or 4 if need be. Helen was very kind and communicated well throughout my stay. The interior of the unit looked freshly renovated and was super clean when i arrived :)

The location is good, it's right near the water (not on it, but you're very close) and there are lovely places on the lake to sit. Finding the place and parking was easy. It does have an equipt kitchen and a patio. The apartment itself was a bit underwhelming though. There were 2 big deal breakers for us. The bed squeaks everytime you move, so it was a few nights of poor quality sleep, and you can hear the neighbours very easily both taking away from the relaxing stay we were after.

Helen’s place is cute and just what you need. It’s well equipped with just what you need. The valley trail is close by and it’s only a 4.5km walk to the village past Nita and Alta lake and the whistler golf course. It’s a good location, the building the suite is in is tired but Helen’s suite is very clean and updated. The bed and bedding felt like home.

Helens place is fantastic! I visited during the summer. It was close enough to the hustle and bustle of Whistler Village but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet after a day of hiking/ mountain biking. I especially enjoyed relaxing by the pool during the day and the solitude of the wood burning fireplace at night.

The unit itself is really nice with quite a few updates.
Although the hot tub was having maintenance done we were able to use the pool which is kept extremely warm! We enjoyed a few September swims in the pool.

This was our first time staying in Creekside and we're converted - steps away from two lakes, Creekbread, Southside Diner, Roland's, under 10 minutes walking to the gondola, and free parking? We will definitely be back! Helen's unit is incredibly spacious for a Whistler studio, and has some nice recent renovations to kitchen and bath. We were surprised by how quiet it was for being in a large older building. Everything you need is there, from extra pillows and towels to a french press and nicely equipped kitchen! We would definitely stay again.

Good value -- the fireplace and deck are nice features and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you need for cooking. Helen is good host who is very responsive. Be aware that this place is located in Creekside, not Whistler Village. If you do not have a car, it can be somewhat time-consuming (but not difficult) to get Whistler Village via public bus or taxi. Despite limited options, the Creekside location has everything you need. There is also a fun sports pub next door called Rolands that caters mostly to locals. The only criticism is that the common areas are somewhat dated, and the hot tub area was closed for maintenance at various times or occupied by groups of young folk drinking and blasting music.

Helen's a wonderful host – very responsive and helpful! And the apartment is perfect for couples, solo travelers, or small groups. We really loved the bed and memory foam (or similar) pillows, which were super comfortable, and the fireplace was so awesome and cozy to have on a cold almost-winter night! The place comes with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including adequate amounts of hangers (which is usually annoyingly overlooked in some Airbnbs!), basic toiletries, and quality linens. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything for cooking meals, with a dining room table that accommodates at least four people. The couch was comfortable, and the Apple TV was great in the evenings! The walls are somewhat thin, but that's normal for many places. It's great to have hot tub and sauna access, too – something we enjoyed, but didn't make use of as much as we would have liked! The location is fantastic if you're in Whistler to ski, as you can easily walk to Creekside, as well as the diner, gas station, etc. The pizza place nearby was awesome, so definitely check that out! Overall, I'd say it was an enjoyable experience and I would highly recommend this or any of Helen's other listings!

Great apartment for two! Very convenient location, close to everything and right next to the Valley trail - for beautiful hikes and bike rides (and bear spotting - we saw one!!). The apartment was more spacious than what we had expected from the pictures and very nice to spend some time in during rainier days. The kitchen is well equipped and being able to cook good meals and have a cozy breakfast made this short stay feel very home-y! Great communication with the host who was very thoughtful in updating us on the air-conditions (at the time of our visit, there were wildfires in BC but this did not impact Whistler too much). Helen was very flexible and always quick to respond.

Location and Value is what you get here. If your looking for great value and great location without the hype of the main village this is the place to stay. You have Creekside village and the gondola within a 10 min walking distance and two great restaurants, Southside and Roland’s that have great food without the high prices of the upper village. Parking was safe and convenient, WiFi works great and overall a quite building. Yes, the building is quite dated, almost in a preserved 1976 state, but the room doesn’t reflect that at all. Helen was very communicative about everything and a wonderful host! I’ll be back soon for ski season!

This is a great value! The Creekside area is the original Whistler base and this facility is considered "Ground Zero" for Whistler exploration. The room retains a lot of the character from the initial structure and is thoughtfully upgraded. Very close to the Creekside lift(s) including the Market and several eating/ Watering Holes.

Stayed a week here at this great location. Easy walk to the Creekside Gondola. Right above best restaurant and best pub in Whistler/Creekside. Fully stocked kitchen (with coffee maker and french press for example) pots, pans and essentials. Murphy bed was surprisingly comfortable. Wonderful view of top of peak chair (on clear day). Easy safe parking. Overall a great experience, 5 stars! Would definitely return next year.

As advertised. Great Location, a short 5 minute walk to the Gondola. Host was a great communicator. Studio is furnished with everything you would need. Kitchen has several nice frying pans, instead of the one beat up one I usually find when I rent. Creekside Market is across the highway and has everything you need for breakfast, lunch, dinner. Roland's, the attached pub, was great for a beer after a long day of skiing and the food was GREAT, highly recommend the Beef Dip Special. Would definitely do this again.

I was at Helen's with my adult son, using the pull out bed, and we didn't find it cramped at all for the 10 days. Easy walking distance to the lifts, and plenty of options to eat/drink, or just stay in and watch netflix. Everything there that you need.

This condo is in a great location in Creekside. Very close to a restaurant, bar, and not far from other shopping areas. The location is just a quick taxi ride from Whistler Village. Helen is a very responsive host, the check in/check out process was easy, and the condo was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay here!

Helen ist eine tolle Gastgeberin, die stets sofort antwortete und alle notwendigen Informationen zur Verfügung stellte. Das Appartement ist klein, aber toll ausgestattet. Als Familie haben wir zu 4. in dem Appartement gewohnt und wunderschön Weihnachten dort gefeiert. Zu Fuß sind es zum Lift 10 Minuten. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Whistler - herzlichen Dank, Helen.

Helen's place is wonderful. The bathroom is newly renovated and the living space looks so nice! Sometimes it was difficult to leave the house, because it is so comfortable inside. Just a quick five minutes walk away is the busstation. The bus takes you directly to the Village, but Creekside has also all you need: beautiful lakes (just two minutes from the airbnb), grocery store and a Gondola.

Helen place is very nice and cozy with all stuff you need to spend a relax weekend. We had a really good sleep since her bed is very comfortable. The only cons I have is that neighbors upstairs are a bit noisy but nothing extreme :) . Helen is very fast answering emails which I really appreciated. We will come back! Thank you!

We had a great time in whistler, especialy with thanks to Helen and her great Suit she provided for us. We stayed 2 nights and had everything we needed. Very clean with a small balcony with mountain view! Communication with mail was very good, we always got instant reply when having questions. We totally recommend this location to everybody who wants to visit Whistler! Hiking trails and restaurants are very close, just walking distance away!

We stayed 2 nights over the long weekend. You can't beat the location of this place! We had massages and dinner reservations at Nita Lake Lodge which is across the street and is absolutely gorgeous. Highly recommend dinner on the patio of their restaurant, Aura. The village is a $12-$15 cab ride and super fast. It was easy and comfortable to relax in the suite. The renovated bathroom made a huge difference and the bath towels were big and fluffy. Kitchen was well equipped and the Murphy bed was surprisingly comfortable! We have no complaints about the suite itself however the building is very outdated and a little on the creepy side though that is probably just me. We checked out the hit tub but it just didn't look too appealing. Aside from factors beyond the host's control, we
loved the convenience of the suite and its proximity to everything we wanted to do.

Great apartment in Whistler Creekside.
We were with 4 guys. Our main reason was to enjoy the mountains of Whistler. The apartment has everything you need and has a good price for this area. The joint hot tub is very relax to end your day after a day of skiing.
Helen communicated very well. All the doors are locked with a door key, which is pretty handy.

We loved our stay! Easy walk to the creekside gondola which seemed to stay less crowded than the whistler base area. The studio is bigger than it looks in the pictures, we had plenty of room for two. It might feel a little crowded for four!

Helen's place was perfect for our quick ski trip. Less than a ten minute walk to the Creekside Gondola, and easy access to the grocery store and several great restaurants.
Helen's place was very clean and she did a great job communicating with us before and during the stay. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking meals, the beds are clean/comfortable, and the bathroom is tidy. It was exactly as portrayed in the description; a cozy pad with a nice vibe! Wouldn't hesitate to book again.

It was perfect!!
Helen's place is about 6-10 minutes from the Village (sometimes a little more from the Village like after the lifts close for the day but never too bad). There is a shopping area right across the main street where we were able to buy all the groceries we needed plus a gas station right next to the apartment. It was nice that we were able to park anywhere in the building parking lot and the parking in the Village is also really affordable ($8 for the whole day in lots 1, 2, and 3 or free in lots 4 and 5 -- all lots are free after 5pm).
The apartment itself was cozy for the four of us but not cramped at all. I thought it was much more spacious than the photos make it seem. It was perfect. We used the kitchen a lot and it was well-equipt and things were placed intuitively. Very clean and cute.
Helen was an awesome host. She was responsive, considerate, and very gracious. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Helen is a great communicator which made our last minute booking a breeze. We stayed in whistler village which was fun, but this home in creekside was a great change of pace. We felt like locals in this part of town. Helen gave us great suggestions for Di nner spots nearby. We were able to walk everywhere. My husband had some work to do so the good wifi was a good bonus. The kitchen had all the tools we needed for cooking. Everything was clean. Plenty of space for the 2 of us. And the view of the mountain was just beautiful. We would definitely stay here again!

Helen is a wonderful host. The location is fantastic -- we love Creekside and being so close to restaurants, two different lakes, the Valley Trail and Westside Trail Network, close enough to the action in the Village without being crowded by it. The space is great and very functional -- maybe a bit short on storage (the closet was empty for us but only the nightstand drawers for foldables), but the Murphy Bed creates lots of room to move around during the day. Pool at the complex was nice and clean and there is laundry available ($5 for a wash & dry). One caveat for summer -- it gets VERY warm inside during the day, even with the shades drawn as recommended. We opened the door & window (no screens on either) in the evening to let the cooler air in and were swatting mosquitos all night. This was the only bummer in a fantastic weeklong stay.

Where to begin; Helen made this trip absolutely a breeze. Although we never met her in person, her presence was never lacking in communication. She was responsive and incredibly helpful. We had been traveling to Whistler for the first time on our own so we were quite apprehensive about being able to judge whether we had selected the right place or not in terms of location and environment. Helen's listing was absolutely accurate, the neighborhood had a very cool and youthful vibe without being too loud or crazy. The lake was a very pleasant walk away as was the supermarket; all things that Helen had reassured would be easily accessible. The building seemed very safe and inviting for two females traveling alone. The apartment itself was generously stocked with necessities such as extra blankets, pillows, toilet paper, etc. I have nothing but praise for Helen for making this trip so comfortable, after a crazy day at PembyFest the apartment was our home away from home. The apartment was nice, clean and comfortable. Helen wasn't in the town when we arrived but she provided us with perfect instruction how to get to the place and inside the apartment. She was responsive and ready to help any time if there were any problems.
The area was a bit busy in the late afternoon but very quiet in the evening. We spent amazing weekend there and can only recommend this place as a great base for exploring around Whistler.
PS: Thank you for those lilies Helen, they survived a trip to Vancouver and made us happy for few more days.

General stuff....the entry security to the lobby was a mess. Locked during the day and wide open at night. Piles of clothing and other items in the hallways. Clean up and maintenance in the common areas is very poor. Would be a much warmer and pleasant first impression and welcome if the place were kept up better. If you are paying fees for these areas to be cleaned, monitored, and maintained, you are not getting the service you are paying for.

Lovely apartment, very clean and comfortable. Room has a pullout murphy bed full kitchen and bathroom, and everything we needed was there.
Communication with Helen was great, and she was very accommodating at short notice.
Description of building amenities needs a little updating. The hot tub is in a state of disrepair and looks like it hasn't been in use for a long time, and the sauna is also broken and not looking like it is likely to be fixed soon. We were a little disappointed as looked forward to using the hot tub, however if we hadn't been told in the first place we wouldn't have minded.

Helen was incredibly helpful even before I finalized the booking with her. She addressed questions I had and waited to confirm until I knew which day I was arriving so I didn't need to pay any fees twice for two separate bookings. Her instructions were clear, and she proactively offered me help. Amazing host!
The apartment is just like the description and pictures and even a bit better. It is a perfect size for two people and well equipped for cooking. My girlfriend and I cooked two or three meals there daily and had all the kitchen supplies, oils and spices we needed. Plus its clear Helen is very healthy - she has coconut oil and extra virgin olive oil for cooking. The location is perfect, walking distance to an equipment rental shop, the Creekside gondola, a gym and a supermarket. The shared hot tub is large and very nice and the laundry is quite convenient.
