Hike: Panorama Ridge

Panorama Ridge is one of the most rewarding hikes in the Whistler region, attracting outdoor enthusiasts from around the world. Located within Garibaldi Provincial Park, the trail leads hikers through ancient forests, alpine meadows, and rugged mountain terrain before reaching a spectacular ridgeline overlooking turquoise lakes, glaciers, and snow-capped peaks. The summit offers sweeping views of Garibaldi Lake and the surrounding Coast Mountains, making it one of British Columbia’s most photographed hiking destinations.

While the hike is challenging, the scenery changes dramatically throughout the day, providing countless opportunities to stop and take in the landscape. Wildflowers often blanket the meadows in summer, while crystal-clear alpine lakes create unforgettable viewpoints along the route. Panorama Ridge is a full-day adventure that rewards preparation and effort with some of the most breathtaking mountain scenery in the province.
