We used this apartment as part of our vacation to Whistler and to see family in the area.
Helen was clear on all communications with ourselves which made the stay easier.
Location is good for getting into Whistler by public transport and there's parking at the complex.
Only minor concern is that there's no air conditioning within the apartment which can get extremely warm during hot weather, which is mentioned in the listing, but Helen does provide fans to try to allow air movement.
Would have no issues staying here for future visits.

Man hat einen Parkplatz vor der Tür, der groß ist, jedoch hatten wir ab zwei Abenden das Problem, dass dieser bereits belegt war. Dennoch konnten wir auf einen Parkplatz auf der Straße ausweichen. Nice apartment, really enjoyed having access to the heated outdoor swimming pool. Sauna and hot tub also available but we didn't use this. Nice bathroom, adequate kitchen for basic cooking. Comfy bed and sofa. Bonus of having netflix TV if you have a night in.

It’s true what all the great reviews say. This was an excellent base for my week of solo Whistler skiing from the Creekside Gondola. While the gondola took me a 15-minute walk in my heavy ski boots, it went much faster in shoes, including to the food market and bus stop as well. The bus to the Village worked well. Everything was comfortable with just enough room for one or two. I wasn’t lacking for anything. The hot tub was appreciated at the end of the ski day, and I met a number of nice people in the building. I also enjoyed the window view. The host was communicative and helpful. Great stay! Tip: The picture of the building exterior and entrance is helpful to discern it from other nearby entrances/buildings.

Absolutely beautiful location. The view from the apartment was amazing, and the surrounding area was even better. Cafes, restaurants and a grocery market all within walking distance, as well as lakes and several beautiful scenic walking trails. Just far enough from the village centre to have a quiet, peaceful vibe without being too far away from everything. Easy access to the bus station, but I enjoyed walking the trails to get around even though they can be quite long — the view was definitely worth the walk. Helen was also lovely, very clear instructions that made it easy to figure everything out, and she’s always able to get ahold of if needed. I had a great time!

We stayed in Helen’s place for the weekend. The location was perfect, it was accessible to the main highway.
The place was neat and cozy! The view from the window was beautiful as well.
Something to consider when booking this place is that it is on the 3rd floor and the only acces you have is a staircase. So bringing our luggage up might be quite a challenge.
Also, the walls are a bit thin, we could hear the people chatting and laughing from the adjacent room.
Nonetheless, it was still a good experience. 👍

We had a great stay at Helen’s place! The location was perfect as it allowed us to go on walks and connected to the Valley Trail, in addition to being within walking distance to a few lakes. The village was just a few minutes away by car.
The place was squeaky clean and the bed was really comfortable. We had everything we needed to cook and make ourselves at home. It was hot during our stay but Helen provided fans which made the place comfortable. The pool was a nice bonus on a hot day!
Check-in was easy and instructions were clear! Definitely would recommend staying here!

Our stay at Helen’s was wonderful. The studio is located in the Creekside area with walking distance to Alpha, Nita & Alta lake. Around the area, great coffee shops and places to eat. The most astonishing thing we discovered coming from a populated city was lack of starry sky. At night, you can see a lot of stars from the area. The parking is convenient, and there is a lot for the building residents. Overall, the studio was cozy, amenity abound and within good surroundings!

Lovely room in a hotel/motel-type stay. Keyless entry and self-check-in/check-out so you can't lock yourself out but you need to memorize 3 four-digit codes to access your room.
It is close to Lake Nita, a bit outside of Whistler downtown. I chose it because it was the cheapest stay with a private bathroom in the Whistler area at the time (July). The same type of stay you can easily get for 70 USD in any town in the US instead of 170 USD per night but these are the rates at Whistler as it seems :-(.
The only missing thing was a desk to work on the notebook...
Don't be frightened away by the ugly smell in the hotel hallways as they apparently don't get fresh air often/at all.

My partner and I enjoyed our stay at Helen’s place. It had everything we needed for long weekend ski trip. Helen gave detailed instruction, checked up on us, and notified us that the place was available if we wanted to stay longer. The kitchenette had everything basic for a small space. I loved it.
It was about 5 mins walk to Creekside gondola.
We did not try the amenities, but it was good to know they were there. Have to pay for laundry if needed. One thing that would be nice to have had are basic cleaning floor supplies, like a swiffer, for dirt that comes in from the entrance door or any small crumbs from cooking.
Overall, it was a relaxing and joyous stay! I would recommend.

One con definitely the noise. If your neighbors are loud you can hear their entire conversations and the doors slam super loud. Would be nice if the doors had some dampening at least.

The location is quite convenient as it's about a 10 minute drive to the village. We didn't have any trouble with parking but the interior of the building is currently being renovated. It did not affect the rooms but it was an inconvenience to smell the areas being painted and careful of wet paint. There are no elevators with 3 flights of stairs. I loved the convenience of the location and the room was very homey and comfortable. There are a ton of doors that required key codes to get to your room.

This place was perfect and Helen was great! When the person before us canceled, she asked if we wanted to add an extra day and we jumped at the chance. The place was spotless and had everything you would need, and it was only a short walk across the street to Creekside and the gondola up Whistler Mountain. Couldn't be happier!

This studio was perfect for me and my stay in Whistler!
The location was ideal. I was focused on skiing and it’s a quick ten minute walk to the Creekside gondola. I also love walking in nature and it’s located right by an amazing walking trail that passes beautiful lakes, parks and mountains (it’s a 3 mile walk to the main Whistler Village using this path).
Parking was easy, the bed super comfy, fast WiFi, kitchenette had the basics for simple meals, hot tub, and sauna were great after a day on the slopes. Next door neighbors and a couple dog barks every once in awhile could be heard but nothing that interrupted sleep.
Helen was extremely fast and clear in her communication. An excellent host! I would definitely stay here again.

Helen’s Airbnb was perfect for a solo stay! I really loved the view of the mountains from the room and enjoyed the cozy feel. Helens place is also only a 5 min walk to the bus stop and it’s a 15 min bus ride into Whistler village which made for an easy commute. It was also very close to multiple restaurants and a grocery store, and easy access to multiple walking trails with lake and mountain views!

This Airbnb was perfect for our needs. My husband and I spent 3 days exploring the Whistler area. The location of the Airbnb was down the road, about a 7 minute drive, from the main Whistler Village but you could walk to nearby grocery store and restaurants in the Creekside shopping area. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. There were some noisy dogs barking somewhere else in the condo units but it was very limited and didn't happen at night so no complaints there. Overall we loved our experience!

Great stay!! Amazing value. Only complaint is the thin walls between the suites. We could hear our neighbours getting up early to hit the hill when we were looking to sleep in. The hot tub was a lovely touch!! Especially in these times. Great space and building. I would absolutely come again!

The place was clean and fine. Despite knowing I booked it for two weeks, Helen still didn’t get the only outlet in the kitchen fixed, meaning the appliances turned off every 30 seconds.
Helen repeatedly questioned and made judgemental comments about me quarantining, even though I was following government guidelines for having arrived from London. It was a pain, annoying and frankly rude. She emailed me almost daily about it, which I found intrusive.

We stayed here for a month when moving back to Whistler. Location was great, close to the lake and creekside to get food etc. Really enjoyed the heated pool. Helen was really quick with communicating and check in instructions were very clear and easy. The apartment was nice and cozy. The only downfall was cooking was a bit tricky with the set up of the kitchen because you can only use one appliance at a time. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

The only annoyance was trying to use the kitchen appliances for simple meal preparation was difficult as the circuit would short out even if you had one appliance plugged at a time. There are plenty of food options just outside your door otherwise though.

We stayed at Helens apartment for one month. The check in process was smooth and the apartment is exactly as illustrated in the photos. It was very clean and has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Any time we had a question Helen was very quick to respond. The internet is very fast and reliable. The apartment complex is a 3-5 minute walk to the Creekside gondola, supermarket and other amenities. It was very convenient to have laundry machines in the building. The Whistler Valley Trail is a short distance behind the building. Staying in Creekside is quieter than Whistler Village and there are no lineups for the gondola. Would highly recommended staying at Helen's place.

Helen is quick to reply and provides great directions to her studio apt. It is very clean and nicely updated. The bldg. mgmt. should use her to help them update the common spaces as those are very dated but once in your room, it doesn't matter. No A/C though and the pool is currently not open (although I'm not sure what they are doing). Location is super convenient to Creekside village and biking on the Valley Trail around the lakes. Nita Lake is very close by and there is a fun pub next door (Rolands) that we enjoyed!

Helen’s studio is a perfect location. We walked to Fix coffee shop every morning. Easy walk to the gondola. The place was clean and stocked with necessities.
The down side was that I went with one of my gal pals and she slept on the futon. It’s not really the best for comfort. If you’re going and sharing a bed then you will be perfect. Just an issue with the futon. Also, we didn’t know what to do at check out until after we left. So hopefully we kept everything tidy for Helen.

This studio is the perfect little home-from-home for your trip to Whistler. The studio is in Whistler Creekside, which is ten minutes drive from the village centre. It's a very peaceful area, with local shops and restaurants just a few minutes walk away.
The studio is beautifully furnished and decorated, and Helen supplies everything you need to have a comfortable stay. The little kitchenette is functional and space efficient, well equipped with anything you could need to cook tasty meals. The bathroom is beautifully kept and the bed is very comfy. The view is incredible and waking up to see the mountain outside was wonderful. It was great to curl up on the sofa and watch a film on Netflix in the evenings, after a busy day exploring and hiking.
We really enjoyed our stay in this gorgeous little home - Helen was a great host, very responsive. All details for check in/out were supplied quickly and Helen checked with us during our stay to see how it was going.
I would highly recommend Helen's property and would happily stay again.

The place was clean and cozy. It’s quite small but it was fine for two people. Check-in was super easy and Helen was easy to get in touch with.
The kitchen area is small but was surprisingly well equipped with everything you need (the sandwich bags were especially helpful when we made a lunch one day!).
Wifi was great and it was nice to have Netflix on the TV to watch a movie in the evening.
The location is a couple minutes from the village, but easily accessible by car and bike. It’s close to restaurants and a grocery store.
It was very hot in Whistler when we were there, and the unit was quite warm, even with the curtains closed all day and the window open at night. There is a small fan, but the heat may be a consideration for those who are sensitive to heat or are used to AC.
Overall I would recommend this place if you’re looking for a cute place to stay in Whistler!

Had a great stay in Helen's apartment. Everything needed was available and Helen is very responsive if we had any queries. The location is quieter than Whistler it's self but that is exactly what we wanted. Added bonus of being next to the lake and also having its own pool. Brilliant for cooling off after a hot day on the mountain.
Just one thing to bear in mind. The apartment does not have air conditioning. Helen does provide a fan but do make sure you close the curtains before leaving the apartment in the day. Even then the apartment does get very warm especially when trying to sleep at night. Opening the window during the night does help. Mind you we are in the middle of a heatwave here in Creekwood at the moment.
All in all an excellent stay, oh and did I mention the breakfasts at the diner on the crossroads? Eggs, bacon, pancakes.... All on the same plate if you like :)

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist wirklich super. In der Nähe von Seen, Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Parkmöglichkeiten vorm Haus und nur eine kurze Fahrt nach Whistler. Das Gebäude hat viele Mietwohnungen, mit hauptsächlich jungem Publikum - darauf sollte man sich einstellen. Wir hatten etwas Probleme mit Gerüchen aus Wohnungen in der Nähe. Doch Helen hat ihr bestes gegeben, uns zu helfen und war immer erreichbar. Sehr sympathische und bemühte Gastgeberin! Das Appartement selbst hat alles was man benötigt, es ist stilvoll eingerichtet und neu renoviert. Das Bett ist bequem und Netflix ein zusätzlicher Bonus. Zum Haus gehört ein schöner Pool! Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen - trotz kleinerer Probleme mit den Nachbarn ;)

Helen's AirBnb was pristine! It is in a great location - 5 minutes to Whistler Village, 1.5 hours from Vancouver, and 1 hour from the famous Joffre Lake Provincial trailhead. The space is very clean/cute and has everything you need for a weekend getaway. My husband and I really enjoyed the space, and would definitely stay here again. Helen is very responsive and provided clear directions for check-in/out. As other reviewers have mentioned, the condo is located in an old musty building. Don't let that scare you away as her place is perfectly renovated and the building is not a representation of her condo! Also, cheers for free parking as well!

Helen's place was great. It was located in a prime location as it was less than a 5 minute walk to the bus station to hop on a bus to Whistler Village. The outside of the building and hallways were a bit-dated, but the inside was updated and very modern. We would definitely attempt to rent this space again if we're ever lucky enough to revisit Whistler in the future.

Probably the most affordable accommodation available in Whistler. Period. It's right next to a beautiful lake, some restaurants, and a beer store. Whistler's beautiful trails are close and accessible. There's a grocery store within walking distance, but do yourself a favour and shop in Squamish on the way up because it'll cost half what it will in Whistler.
The space itself is small, but cozy and private. The bed is extremely comfortable. Helen seems very nice and check-in was really easy.

This is a great spot if you don't want to spend a ton of money to be directly in Whistler Village, because there is a gondola that is only a five minute walk away that takes you to the top of the mountain. There is also a bus stop that five minutes away that takes you directly to Whistler Village. It was clean and exactly as described!

great stay, great location and everywhere is easy accessible. the only concern is the power in the flat, as the fuse may not fully support all electronic appliances usage at one time so be aware of short circuit but apart that, it’s a cozy place to stay!

The apartment was nice and cozy! It included all the essentials and the bed was super comfy. The complex is in Creekside which is outside of the main village but it has everything you need (market, Subway, Tim Hortons, sit down restaurants, etc.). It is only about a 45 minute walk along a nice paved trail with a beautiful view or 15 minute bus ride to the main village. There is also a gondola in Creekside for skiers which is about a 5 minute walk from the unit. Helen was very quick to respond to all questions and was detailed in all her instructions so that it was easy to find the apartment! Thanks for a great stay

Es war eine kleine, aber gemütliche Wohnung mit allem was man für einen kurzen oder auch längeren Aufenthalt braucht. Alles war einwandfrei und bei Problemen ( zum Beispiel mit dem Internet) wurde sofort reagiert und das Problem behoben. Das einzige etwas negative war, dass die Waschmaschine im Haus leider nicht funktionierte.

I just wanted to go up and grab a couple days of Mountain Biking up in Whistler mid week and after tourist season. Helen's place is fairly priced and it was the first time for a long time I stayed in the Creekside and I loved it. Feels less touristy and the trails I like riding in Whistler, both Mountain bike and snowboarding always end down Creekside. Its kind of the quiet sleepy part of Whistler, especially in the Fall. Also went fishing at nearby Nita Lake. The process for checking in/out was seamless. Im sure Hellen is very nice, I never met her though. I'll definitely ask to stay again.

The small, cozy suite makes excellent use of space with plenty of room to move about. Convenient location in Creekside with parking and good pub downstairs. Creekside was extremely quiet in the evenings over summer, with many restaurants closed (despite their advertised hours) you'll probably want to head to the village for dinner and nightlife. If you don't mind a quieter location over summer, outside of the main tourist spots, then I'd recommend Helen's place.

Helen's place is quietly located in Creekside, right next to Nita Lake. It's very cozy, convenient and efficient—we much enjoyed our stay! Easy stroll to the bus station for Whistler Village. Easy stroll to the lounge bar at Lake Nita. We would recommend it and come back again.

Lovely little place just off of the main road. Whistler town is a 5-10 minute drive away and it takes roughly an hour to walk one way.
Helen helped us find somewhere to stay when our previous accommodation cancelled last minute. She was very helpful and responded quickly!!

Helen's place is super cozy in charming Creekside. I was going to an event in Whistler Village when I made this booking. I took the bus everyday back and forth, which was super convenient and easily accessible from her spot. The advice Helen gave on local eateries and the area was super helpful. She was also very responsive to questions about the area and flexible in allowing a late checkout when I needed it. I definitely would stay again and recommend it to others looking for lodging in this area!

We had a wonderful week-long stay at Helen's studio. It was absolutely perfect for our holiday in Whistler. The studio had everything we needed and was clean, bright and comfortable. The location was great, walking distance from brilliant Creekside bars and restaurants and the 5km walk into Whistler village was beautiful. Helen is a brilliant host, checking in via messenger to ensure we were settling in well and enjoying our time. We would strongly recommend staying here.

Helen's place is cozy and in a convenient location since we were on a biking holiday at Whistler Mountain Bike Park. Just a 5 min ride to the Creekside gondola or a 10 min walk to the bus stop that brings you to Whistler Village. Helen is a really great host! I stayed at her place together with my girlfriend and we really enjoyed our stay. Helen was very friendly and even though we did not meet her in person, she manage to make us feel welcome. We had some questions during our stay, and Helen was extremly helpful and answered us right away. Her place was great! It was cool and comfy, had everything we needed and was located in a beautiful neighborhood. We can highly recommend her place!

I really enjoyed my stay at Helen's cozy suite. From the getgo, I was really impressed by the price, proximity, and cleanliness of the place. It was all we could ask for in terms of having a place to rest while out on the slopes all day. Helen was great in communicating the details of the stay! Helen's apartment is really great! The value is very good considering the location and the place has everything you might need. Kitchen may be small but it's very functional. There's also plenty of storage space for a small room and nicely decorated. The best part is location- it's only a few minute walk to the creekside gondola/ bus stop/ market/ petrol station. Helen is a great host and is always easy to contact. Will definitely be staying here again!!

Perfect for a ski vacation base. Clean, comfortable, cosy with a lovely view, close to the mountain and amenities - but far enough away from the village to relax. Excellent value. Helen is a caring and genuine host. She stays out of your way but checks that everything is going well for you.
