Nestled slopeside beside Blackcomb Mountain, the Benchlands neighbourhood offers a quieter alpine escape just moments from Whistler’s main attractions. Stretching along the lower slopes of Blackcomb and Upper Village, the area is known for its ski-in/ski-out access, forested surroundings, and easy access to both adventure and relaxation.
Guests enjoy quick access to the Blackcomb Gondola, Lost Lake, and the Valley Trail network, making it easy to ski, bike, hike, or explore year-round. Spend summer afternoons swimming or paddleboarding at Lost Lake, tee off at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler Golf Club, or enjoy après and patio dining at Merlin’s Bar & Grill, a favourite slope-side spot at the base of Blackcomb. In winter, the area becomes a hub for skiing, snowshoeing, and cross-country trails through Lost Lake Park.
Combining peaceful mountain living with convenient access to Whistler’s dining, apres, and village atmosphere, the Benchlands is a favourite year-round destination for families, couples, and outdoor enthusiasts alike.

I’ll start with positives - it’s clean, with comfortable towels and bed sheets. The location is good, walkable to village center and lost lake. One of the property manager helped with parking situation.
On the negatives - first it’s not a 2 bedroom, really 1 bed + 1 den, and the den is right next to kitchen.
There is predatory towing in this complex, my car got towed when I was checking in and unloading. Property manager wasn’t considerate initially but in the end took care of the towing bill so appreciate that. I did have to Uber and get my car back. What’s funny is the next day the dedicated underground parking spot was taken by someone else and I called - apparently there was nothing they can do, and I was told if there is no space I can find parking somewhere else and walk back, music to my ears after a 12-hour hike. I’m writing this with the hope that the property management company can improve - whistler is a beautiful place, hope all guests get to enjoy fully.

Our Outpost stay in a Whistler was fantastic. The place was comfy and had all that we needed, easy to access, good parking, nice beds and bedding. Walk into the village is quick and very enjoyable - a huge perk of staying here. Would recommend and would stay again.

The location of the townhouse was perfect for those of us who wanted to bike and walk. It is 20 minute walk from the village, so walking back after dinner was a welcoming activity. The place was impeccable, perfect for 4 people. If there was a downside to our stay it was probably that, given that it’s a townhouse, we were able to hear our neighbors walking and moving furniture at different hours during the day, some as early as 6:30 am. However, since we planned to be out most of the day, it was only a minor wrinkle.
Overall it was quite pleasant, comfortable, and easy to check in and out. Outpost was a perfect host!

IncreÃble el alojamiento a 7 minutos caminado de la góndola, lo único que es una de las habitaciones y su baño son muy pequeños.

Where to start! We've stayed at countless rentals in the Whistler area and this is by far the best. Location: The location is great for skiing and for easy access to the village for evenings out or other activities. We stayed in the winter, but in the summer I imagine it's also very conveniently located for trail access (which start right at the door). You're a 3 min walk to the Blackcomb gondola. If for some reason you can't manage that, there is a very frequent shuttle bus that stops literally right outside the front drive and takes you to either Blackcomb or the Whistler gondolas. Similarly, we walked the 3 mins back from the slopes everyday - but if you wanted to take a shuttle it stops right by the drive. Accommodation: The apartment was pristine when we arrived. It has a large kitchen which is better equipped than my house (including a Ninja blender and drip coffee machine). A large dining and relaxing area with a high quality TV and very comfortable sofa/ arm chairs. There is also a small desk area with some privacy, which makes it perfect for 'working from home'. The main bedroom has a large king-sized bed with a very comfortable mattress. The second bedroom has a very comfortable large double. Both bathrooms are well equipped, with great showers and excellent water pressure. The whole apartment is nicely decorated and appointed. It's clear that the owners have taken great care in making sure the space is a nice and welcoming place to stay. Storage: Immediately on entering the apartment you walk through a large porch/ mud-room with ample storage for tonnes of skis and other gear (we had 8 pairs of skis and 6 pairs of boots when we stayed!), so you can store your gear easily and out of the way. Parking: Great undercover parking which is about 15 steps away from the apartment entrance. Overall: We had a fantastic few days staying at the apartment and we can't wait to return. It really is the perfect apartment for four people in the Whistler area.

Located steps from the convenient, free shuttle to the base of both mountains, this stylish condo offered us what would be needed and expected in a cozy mountainside stay. The main living area offered us a comfortable open concept that allowed my family to gather, cook, eat, play, and relax all together. The bedrooms were quite comfortable and the extra little nook off of the dining room gave my young son his own little play area for his puzzles and Legos. A great bonus feature was the closed-off and oversized main entrance room that gave us a convenient place to leave our equipment out of sight and out of mind. Let's not forget to mention how close the condo is to the loading zone of the parking lot; it was very easy to lug our belongings from and to the car! We'll be back!!

Hello Ziang,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. First of all, we really appreciate your comments about the cleanliness and location, they mean a lot to us.
Regarding the parking and towing, we are truly sorry about the experience you had. We took this very seriously and have implemented changes to our check-in instructions to make the towing rules imposed by the building management even clearer. Unfortunately, this is not something we can control or change. We’re glad we were able to cover the towing cost and help resolve the situation for you.
We’re also sorry that your designated parking stall was occupied the following day. While we cannot control other guests using the wrong stalls, we are making sure our team provides better assistance if this happens again.
We appreciate your feedback and hope you’ll give us another opportunity in the future. We would love to host you again.
