We had a wonderful stay in Whistler, and were very happy with this unit! Thank you, Outpost!
Pros:
Ski-in/ski-out
close to everything
roomy unit
responsive hosts
comfy beds!
fully stocked kitchen
storage by the entry was so helpful
Welcome snacks/treats were such a lovely bonus!
Good to know:
bed and bath doors are frosted glass and no soundproofing in unit which makes privacy more difficult, if that's something you need to plan for.
unit is a little worn-out. not as new as the pictures make it look. Still a wonderful stay though!

Everything was close by, enjoyed walking around the upper village. The kids loved the mini golf close by.
The lightning was a little challenging to figure out. Near the end of our stay, we had it sorted.

would definitely book again. great location in Whistler with accommodations for several bikes. Only complaint is that they communicated too much when I just really wanted to be left to my own devices while on vacation. Difficult to unplug when they are messaging you every day to (very politely) ask how you are doing. Besides that being a mild inconvenience, I felt like I got exactly what I paid for. the needs were quite comfy, too!

Want something nice and just a short walk to Whistler village?

The property was beautiful and clean. The spacious bedrooms and 2 bathrooms were really nice. There was a smell, I think it was the cleaning products they used, and the TV in the bedroom wouldn't connect to the cable, but we weren't there to watch TV anyways. The location was amazing, just off the Blackcomb gondola, super close to everything. The lights are something to get used to, but I like the ability to turn ALL the lights off on your way out the door. ... Also, the pool and hot tub are a nice way to relax after a busy day!!

We had an amazing stay. The cabin is located very close to the gondola which is very convenient if you are going to ski. The place is very beautiful and very well equiped. We were positively surprised and we will certainly stay here again. Me and my family had an amazing time, and we would highly recommend it.

Ski family vacation.

Woodrun Resort is a fantastic choice for a ski getaway, offering clean and well-maintained accommodations with easy access to the slopes. The beds and pillows are exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep after a day on the mountain. The kitchen is well-stocked, making it easy to prepare meals, and the provided shampoo and conditioner smell amazing. Overall, it’s a perfect mix of convenience and comfort for a great stay with true ski in/ski out right outside the ski lockers.

Excellent location on the Blackcomb Gondola run. Easy ski and ski out. Short 5 min drive to the village or a 15 min walk through the beautiful park or take the shuttle. Rented gear next door at Aspen Lodge. The condo has large windows with lots of natural light and great views of the trees and mountains beyond. The place was well equipped, modern and spotless. Wonderful stay!

Great slopeside unit

The unit was modern, clean, and very comfortable. Working with the management group was easy and very professional particularly when we ran into a problem because the road to Whistler was closed and they handled everything quickly and efficiently, which gave great peace of mind in a stressful situation. Would definitely rent this unit again!

A cozy condo

This condo is just as described. It is a stylishly designed, very spacious two bedroom. There is an abundance of natural light shining through the big windows with views of the forest instead of other condos. Beds are very comfortable. The only thing that I could fault would be they only had memory foam pillows, which are not my preference. However, the front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating so if I had mentioned it they probably would have tried to find more suitable ones for me. I would definitely stay here again.

most everything was great. better instructions on check out would help such as where to take the garbage. limited time for the front desk to be open or respond to needs would also be helpful. otherwise you had to make a call to a phone exchange system. in one case we never received a call back. otherwise great property, location etc.. nice accommodations / beds etc. ATD

The bathrooms and kitchen were clean and nice. The kitchen had all the cookware and utensils we needed. The spa was closed. One of the exercise machines didn’t work. There was a group of loud young people in the pool past midnight and no one to help

Great value for families

The location and price were great. The facilities were good too. Love that you can ski in/out in winter. Communication with the hosts was exceptional. The place is a little old and one of the bathrooms has a little mould. There was a long strand of hair in the bed my daughter slept in so I wondered whether the sheets were cleaned. I’m sure they probably were. It was also a little warm in the apartment but they are doing the best they can with the fans.

We were informed that the original place we booked would have construction, so was given the opportunity to change locations for the same cost. The new place also had the pool and hot tub under construction, so they gave us the code to use the pool/ hot tub at another facility next door. This worked out great. The place was fantastic, high end appliances and bathrooms. We thoroughly enjoyed it and wished we had booked it for longer. Whistler is amazing.

This spot is perfect! It’s a very short paved walk to the main village. Easy to get everywhere while still being more secluded and quiet at night. Already planning on booking here again for our trip next year!

Lots of issues with appliances dishwasher doesn't dry dishes, washing machine stops mid-cycle so unusable). Bathroom circuits are run together so can't use hair dryer in both bathrooms at the same time without tripping breaker. Bathroom sink clogged and junk comes out every time it drains. Lots of dust.
Very beautiful area. Easy to walk anywhere you want to go. Peaceful and relaxing. The bed was very comfortable. Dated but interesting upgrades. I would have considered coming back if they would have reached out to offer me a future slight discount based on the maintenance problems.

Fantastic Condo and Location

I was very impressed with the condo and location. The condo is beautiful, spacious, and looks exactly as advertised. The furniture in the condo was extremely comfortable, which I look for as someone who enjoys relaxing inside. The location is great for exploring Whistler on foot; nearby restaurants, shops, and outdoor activities. I plan to book the same condo the next time I visit Whistler. Outpost was easy to communicate with and very accommodating.

Great Ski Vacation

The whole property was amazing. Bright, airy, clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Definitely ski in/out. Hot tub, pool, gym, and locker room were clean and well maintained. And a city shuttle is available for trips to the city, but it’s also within fairly easy walking distance. I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it!!!

Great apartment, well located to the slopes and bars. The hosts were great at responding to any questions. We unforunately had an issue with the dishwasher, only mentioning as we were super impressed when we reported it on a Sunday and there was someone at the aprtment that day to get it sorted. Woodrun Dec ‘23 Stay

Great location. Beds were comfortable. This unit and this building are still ok, but both are starting to show signs of age. Be careful when booking if the pool or hot tub matter to you. The last two times we stayed at Woodrun (Dec 23 and Dec 22), the pool and hot tub were closed due to mechanical issues. This doesn’t matter to some, but the hot tub would have been nice after a day of skiing. The owners refunded us $100 for the disruption. As mentioned earlier, it’s a fine place to stay but we won’t be back to this unit or the Woodrun building.

It was a great condo for a ski trip. Unfortunately there wasn’t enough snow to experience to ski down right into the property from the mountain but the gondola was less than 5 min of walking distance.
Best part of this condo was the steaming feature in the shower. It was so relaxing after a long day of skiing.
I would highly recommend and will definitely rent again! Thank you for everything!

Perfect location. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay. The main bedroom looked into the forest. The bed was very comfortable. There were no ceiling lights in the bedrooms. The smaller bedroom was very warm, had to use 2 fans at night to keep it cool.

Our party of 2 couples stayed for 5 nights in early October, so we were using it as a base to hike and explore, not to ski. The location is secluded and peaceful and a 5-10 minute uphill stroll from the Blackcomb ski lift and surrounding shops and restaurants. The main village is a further 10 minute stroll away.
The common areas were scrupulously clean and the desk staff were pleasant.
Things we loved about our stay:
- the outlook - trees all around, tranquil, very light and airy
- secure underground parking
- welcome pack ... most welcome!
- comfortable beds and bedding, great bathrooms
- good Wi-Fi and a tv with various streaming services
- well stocked kitchen, with a wine fridge, and included condiments and cleaning materials available for guest use
- responsive heating and cosy fire
- bbq on the balcony
What wasn't perfect:
- the intricate lighting system; some basic instructions would help prevent being plunged into darkness while using the bathroom!

This condo was perfect for our needs (parents + 4 month old and grandparents). The switches for the lights are a bit tricky to figure out, but after some trial and error we were able to turn off what we needed and when. There's tons of cabinet space for clothes and the master bathroom shower in top notch!

My husband and I stayed at this accommodation for 4 nights as we attended our friends wedding in Whistler. It was more than we expected and very spacious. I hosted the ladies of the wedding party on the wedding day to get ready that morning and it was more than big enough for our hair and makeup to get done and beautiful photos to be taken. Great spot! Would definitely recommend to stay!

Location Location Location

We were here for a wedding and were very close to the venue. Accommodations were great. Clean modern look. Had all the amenities we needed for our stay including a washer and dryer. Super short walk (5 minutes) to Blackcomb Village and another 10 minutes to Whistler Village. Rooms were spacious. Large windows in the living room made it bright with views of the trees. No mountain views but that was minor. Would definitely book again.

Beautiful condo, great location!

We loved our stay at this beautiful condo in the Upper Village. Very clean condo, comfy beds, nice linens and the best pillows! Kitchen was well appointed with quality utensils, pots/pans and appliances. Everything was as pictured. Nice pool and hot tub area and easy access to secured parking garage. Location in Upper Village is quieter than in main Whistler Village - but an easy 1+ mile walk to all the shops and restaurants. Communication and check in/out with Outpost was easy with quick responses. Highly recommend and would stay again.

The decoration is beautiful, but what caught our attention the most is how incredibly clean, new and tidy everything is. We had a lovely stay for a spring skiing trip to blackcomb. The place was great, and easy to get in and out of. Unfortunately the blackcomb gondola was only running on the weekends, so we had to get to Whistler village for our Friday runs, but it's easy to catch the shuttle from here as well. My friends did mention the pillows being a bit too firm, but I didn't check the closet to see if there were other pillows around.

You won’t want to leave this beautiful Airbnb. Although the photos are beautiful this place has a unique charm in person. It is very reasonably priced for a family or a biking/ skiing vacation with friends. There are many amenities as well as underground parking, storage lockers and a wonderful steam shower to destress in. The walking trails between this place and the village makes everything easily accessible. I would highly recommend this place to others.

We stayed 6 nights in Sarah’s beautiful condo. The unit was spotless, well equipped with everything we needed to prepare our meals, and top of the line amenities like Aveda bath products. Quick walk to the Blackcomb gondola for hiking at the top. Short walk to Whistler Village for shops and restaurants. Sarah responded to any requests very quickly. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice of accommodations!

Spring Break Stay

Great trip to Whistler! We’ve stayed at The Woodrun before. Love the location for ski in/ ski out. Property had some issues with the hot tub, but this unit was great! Comfortable furniture, everything you need in the kitchen & easy checkin. Will definitely rent again or recommend. Nicely updated, light & bright with great location within the property.

Great ski in/ski out location

Great condo & great location! Building is older but the unit itself was very nice & well furnished with anything you’d need to cook. Bathroom wasn’t very clean upon checkin but they responded to my message abd came right away to clean. Hot tub wasn’t very clean either. All in all, the hosts were accommodating with any questions or issues we had.

Wonderful location + fantastic property management experience

We stayed at Wood Run for a week with our two kids (ages 11 and 8) and absolutely loved it. The apartment itself is modern, clean, and filled with light. The kitchen is well-appointed with nice cooking utensils, and one of the bathrooms has a steam shower. My husband most appreciated the memory foam pillows on the beds. The location couldn't be more perfect for ski in / ski out, right off of Lower Merlins, a run that tracks beneath the gondola; it was less than a one minute trip to the gondola line. And Outpost Property Management was absolutely fantastic to work with and exceptionally accommodating. We had very late flights and Outpost was able to be flexible with our check out time as no one was coming in right after us. It's worth noting that in order to walk into upper village, the fastest route is to walk down the ski trail. That means after Aprés ski, you're trekking up the side of the mountain with all of your ski gear (if you opt not to take a shuttle). It certainly got our hearts pumping, which was probably a good technique to offset all of the nachos we consumed. Our only disappointment was that the pool heater was broken and so the kids didn't have access to the pool as we had anticipated (a key factor in deciding to stay at this particular property). Hopefully they'll have it fixed soon. That said, the hot tub was working, and I overheard someone mention that its claim to fame is being one of the largest hot tubs at Blackcomb, so there's that.

Beautiful. Cozy, Clean Stay

Wow, such a beautiful place to stay ! We loved having close access to Blackcomb Village and to be able to ski down to the main lift right from our door! Loved the little touches like the welcome drink and snacks from a long travel day! The beds were comfortable and the place was simply beautiful. Definitely would stay here again!

Fantastic ski on/off location. Perfect for two couples. Ski locker in building with very short walk past the pool for mountain access. Boot room in unit with dryer rack kept all ski clutter contained. Highly recommend!

Great space, we stayed here for 5 days with a family of four while skiing at black home. very easy to ski in and ski out.

Overall lovely stay with a few quarks/hiccups

My partner and I stayed here with his parents for a long weekend. The location is very convenient to get to and from Blackcomb gondola as well as an easy walk to Whistler Village (though that may be a bit tough for elderly). The condo was clean and well stocked for our stay, however there was a small window in which we could arrive (between 4-5pm for check in with the front desk) and instructions for some of the amenities in the condo were limited. There is a steam shower which we couldn't figure out how to use as well as mood light switches that controlled multiple rooms all together that we also struggled with. During our stay there was an unusual heat wave and the condo is not air conditioned but there were fans provided that helped us sleep a bit more comfortably. Finally as we we're leaving we found a leak under the kitchen sink that seems to have been there for some time given the state of the cabinetry. We alerted the management as we left and hopefully it will be resolved.

Hello Jaclyn, Thank you for staying in our Woodrun Lodge 209 and for taking the time to write this review. We are sorry that we weren't clear about the check-in procedure. There is definitely an after hour check-in option so you do not have to check-in within the one hour window. I can only imagine how stressful that must have felt. The Woodrun Lodge front desk can accommodate check-ins at any time after 4 PM, we just need to know about a late arrival so we can arrange it. Hopefully that info can help in the future. :) I am reviewing our instructions for the steam shower and the mood light switches so we can get more detailed instructions to our future guests. We appreciate you bringing it to our attention. Thank you for letting us know abou the small leak under the kitchen sink, that has been taken care of by our maintenance team the same day as reported. Yes, unfortunately, this property is not air conditioned and we always try our best to keep it as cool as possible with he fans provided and the mosquito screens installed. We will be discussing future options with the property owner. We hope that you will be able to come to Whistler again in the future. :) Kristina Outpost Team

We had a wonderful week at Whistler! The condo was gorgeous and very clean. Great location, although a bit of a hike up the ski in/out access for our little kids’ legs. We would definitely stay again!
